Welcome to the Resources Page!

The home modification field has resources from many sectors: housing, aging, disability, and health care. It can be a little overwhelming. That's why www.homemods.org has compiled a variety of resources right at your fingertips. These materials can be used for research, education and training, service delivery strategies, or for your own home modification needs. There are four sections:

  • Library: The Library contains full text documents directly and indirectly related to home modification.

  • Links: We have compiled a comprehensive list of web site links to the many different types of agencies and organizations involved with home modification and supportive housing.

  • Video List: Seeing is believing, and these videos should be considered to educate yourself and others about home modification.

  • Products: Modifying a home can require major and minor products that are often difficult to find. This section contains a limited list of products to consider for supportive home environments.
